Phillip Rhodes is an Arizona-bred drummer whose unmistakable groove helped define the sound of 90s alternative rock.
As a founding member and drummer of the Gin Blossoms from 1988-1997, Phillip was the rhythmic backbone behind one of the decade's most successful bands. The Gin Blossoms' breakthrough album New Miserable Experience sold over 4 million copies in the United States alone, earning quadruple platinum certification.
The album spawned multiple hit singles including "Hey Jealousy," "Found Out About You" (#1 Modern Rock), "Until I Fall Away," and "Allison Road" - all featuring Phillip's signature pocket playing and dynamic sensibility.
Following his tenure with the Gin Blossoms, Phillip co-founded Gas Giants with bandmate Robin Wilson, continuing to push creative boundaries. He has since lent his talents to numerous studio projects and live performances, bringing decades of major-label experience to every session.
